Pandea Global M&A holds fourth international conference in Milan
Pandea Global M&A (“Pandea”) held its fourth international M&A conference on 22nd and 23rd of May in Milan, hosted by the Italian member firm, GMT Partners.
Over 25 corporate finance specialists representing member firms from Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australasia exchanged views on cross-border M&A opportunities and global market trends.
Pandea is a global network of selected independent firms with a primary focus on creating and executing cross-border M&A transactions to add significant value to its members clients such as providing enhanced and cohesive access to a larger pool of international acquisition targets, local market expertise and overseas buyer pools.
The Milan conference follows a successful year for deal making in 2018, which saw member firms complete 110 transactions with a combined value of over €1.6 billion.
This year has seen Pandea grow to 17 member firms, with IRIS Corporate Finance (Netherlands), Deal Leaders Africa (South Africa) and PKF Attest (Spain) all joining the network.
James Dow of Dow Schofield Watts, one of the network’s founding members, said “the level of engagement and traction across the member firms has made it another excellent year for the network. We are very pleased to welcome the new member firms to the network, all of whom are strong players in key international M&A markets, bring additional geographic reach and access to experienced, entrepreneurial and like-minded professionals. We look forward to welcoming new members to Pandea this year to further broaden the network’s coverage in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and South America.”
The network meets biannually, with the next conference scheduled for November 2019 in Atlanta, hosted by the US member firm Mazzone & Associates.
